hArt – Hampshire Art for Recreation and Therapy
hArt offers creative ways to support mental health. We know that working with the creative arts improves health and wellbeing, whether indoors or outdoors, and has enormous benefits for participants and those who volunteer.
In 2020 hArt will continue to develop community-based ‘Arts on Prescription’ services, offering a range of creative activities, events and programmes to adults experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety and stress.
We work in both indoor and outdoor settings in multiple venues. We bring together people of all ages and abilities as well as offer individual therapy if required.
We are always pleased to meet those with experience working with people from a care or therapy background. However, those with a genuine, sympathetic and sensitive approach to helping others will also be welcomed.
