The search is on for the best local food and drink producers, diversified businesses, young farmers and commoners, and volunteers who help sustain the New Forest’s landscape and rural economy.
The CLA and New Forest National Park Authority have launched their 2019 joint awards, with the addition of a new category to celebrate the work of young environmentalists, open to those aged 25 or under. The awards also see the return of Best Supporter of Local Produce, Sustainability Champion, Rural Diversification, Young Farmer/Commoner of the Year and Land Management categories.
The 2018 winners were announced at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show on 25 July and the winner in each category was presented with a trophy at an awards ceremony. Find out who won the 2018 awards.
To qualify, nominees must live, work or practice within the awards boundary. Self-nomination and joint nominations are permitted. Please read through the criteria and regulations before submitting your nomination.
The 2019 awards are now open. Nominations close at midnight on Friday 24 May.
