Ferries

Ferries are a fun way to see the Forest from a different perspective.

Hythe Ferry

Hythe Ferry links the vibrant waterside community of Hythe with Southampton’s train, bus and coach networks, shopping centres and nightlife. In the summer the New Forest Tour green route serves Hythe, Beaulieu, Lymington and many attractions in between. Visit www.hytheferry.co.uk or call 023 8084 0722.

Try the great value multi-mode Waterside Wanderer day ticket. Available to purchase from any staffed ticket office at any of the South Western Railway stations within the ticket zone.

Hurst Castle Ferry

Hop on the little ferry from Keyhaven quay to Hurst Castle. It operates every 20 minutes (weekends only during winter months, weather permitting, 10.30am – 4pm). The New Forest Tour blue route connects to Keyhaven during the summer. Visit www.hurstcastle.co.uk/ferry-ride.

Wightlink

Wightlink ferries connect the New Forest with the Isle of Wight between Lymington and Yarmouth. Your onward journey couldn’t be easier with Lymington Pier rail station right beside the ferry, as well as the New Forest Tour green route during the summer. Visit www.wightlink.co.uk or call 0333 999 7333.
