Christchurch and East Dorset Council’s Countryside Team
The Countryside Team of Christchurch Council looks after over 20 sites throughout the borough, ranging from salt marshes in estuaries to heathlands in old quarries.
Our sites and tasks vary from week to week, so there is something for everyone. We have practical conservation volunteering opportunities, as well as Volunteer Warden roles.
No previous experience necessary, just interest and enthusiasm!

The Christchurch and East Dorset Landscape and Countryside Team is responsible for protecting and maintaining all sensitive wildlife sites in the ownership of Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council.
