Tools for Self Reliance
Tools for Self Reliance is an international development charity working to reduce poverty in Africa.
We refurbish donated tools and sewing machines in the UK and send them to five countries in Africa; Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Malawi - where we train individuals to use them for trades (such as carpentry and tailoring) so they may earn a sustainable living.
We need more volunteers for various roles, from being a public speaker to help reach more communities, to collecting tools or managing sales events. We will harness your skills to assist our mission of helping people out of poverty.
