Tool Aid Ringwood is a charitable organisation that refurbishes donated tools that are then sent to developing countries. To support this activity, there is a need for volunteers who can provide a few hours a week.

We currently have a shortfall of volunteers and would love to welcome new people to the team. Training can be given, so, if you feel that you might be able to help, please contact us. If you would like to help for one or two mornings a week, we are open weekday mornings.

Most people do one or two mornings per week regardless of skills, but there is no need to attend every week. Tea, coffee, cakes and good company are all provided.

What do we do?

We take in tools, sewing machines, and computers for refurbishment. The equipment is then sent out to Africa by third party charities with in-country contacts to ensure tools reach those who need them.

Several tons have been sent out over the years – some to local charities – so the charity is always in need of more items.
