New Forest National Park Authority
The National Park Authority’s volunteering programme offers the opportunity to improve woodland, heathland and grassland habitats, maintain and survey the rights of way network and restore Bronze Age barrows throughout the National Park.
Volunteers can take part in practical conservation tasks such cutting down invasive species, planting hedgerows, burning brash, surveying footpaths, and maintenance work of our rights of way network.
You will have the opportunity to visit farmland, woodland, heathland, footpaths and sites on open crown land across the National Park through our volunteer days.
With your help, we can help people develop the necessary skills and enthusiasm needed to care for the Forest and make it fit to face the challenges of the future.
