Willow Swifts and Swallows Workshop

Get creative and try your hand at some small scale willow weaving. Join Louise from Rough Around the Hedges learning how to craft willow swifts and swallows. If you bring some manual dexterity and patience we will provide all the materials, tools and advice. A fun few hours based in the Azalea room in the gardens. Places are limited so book to avoid disappointment.

Although suitable for beginners with no experience, a full day of weaving can be tiring. No previous experience is necessary although some manual dexterity and patience will be required. This workshop is suitable for adults only. Bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old trousers and sensible footwear. If you have suffered a recent injury, suffer from RSI, carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis please check before booking, as you may find this workshop challenging. Please let us know if you suffer from any joint pain or have had a recent injury.

The workshop will be from 10am to 1pm, in the Azalea Room. £45 including refreshments.
