New Forest Junior Rangers (open session) – Discover the New Forest
New Forest Junior Rangers - Helping the New Forest Flourish
New Forest Junior Rangers is a group for 11 to 18 year olds who are interested in conservation, sustainability and the natural world. Sessions will be hosted at a variety of sites in and around the New Forest National Park, with a mixture of practical, learning, action and fun. Join us and some of our regular Junior rangers to find out what it's all about. We will be going on a walk to explore some of the iconic habitats that make the New Forest so special.
We will be looking at what a National Park Ranger does through games and activities and talking about some of our iconic species in the forest and what we can do to help them. We will finish the session litter picking which is a useful tool for rangers to engage with the public and help protect the environment.
The session will run from 10am to 2pm and take place in and around Ashurst campsite and enclosure. We will start and finish the day from Ashurst station car park.
