Beekeeping Exhibition
Bees are essential for the health and wellbeing of the planet and its inhabitants. The role of bees as pollinators of plants and crops makes them vital for food supplies, but the number of honey bees around the world is rapidly declining.
That’s why the skill and art of beekeeping is more important than ever, helping to increase and protect the bee population and preserve the environmental and cultural importance of this winged insect.
This April, the New Forest Marque is excited to be launching a Beekeeping Exhibition at the New Forest Heritage Centre, welcoming local beekeepers to sell some of their produce and promote the long history and importance of beekeeping in the New Forest.
Running between 12th – 21st April 2024. Come along and discover more.
