Be a D-Day Hero!
Hurst Castle celebrates the 80th anniversary of D-Day landings this half term.
Young visitors to Hurst Castle can become a 'D-Day Hero' this May half term as our activity runs from Saturday 25 May to Sunday 9 June as part of the celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Map plotting skills will be tested as visitors find letters around the castle in a Battleship-style 'HIT OR MISS' activity trail. Complete the trail successfully to win a reward and become a D-Day Hero.
The activity is included in your castle admission - the castle is open 7 days a week from 10am-5.30pm. Start your family adventure and take a leisurely ferry to the castle, ferries depart daily from Keyhaven at 10am and then approximately every 20-30 minutes.
So, what are you waiting for? Visit Hurst Castle for a great day out and learn a little bit about the history of the D-Day Landings.
