Marek Gaspar
Marek Gaspar lives in the New Forest National Park and works in the hospitality industry. Photography is a big passion for Marek whose online persona is ‘Marek from Europe’.
During his free time Marek loves riding his bicycle through the Forest and always ensures he has his camera with him so that he can capture what he sees on his travels.
Marek says: “Since I live in the middle of nowhere, I believe I have a unique perspective on this beautiful place. I am lucky enough to be able to step out of my front door right into the National Park.”
Marek wants to use his photography to show the viewer the New Forest from a unique perspective. He uses his bicycle to travel around the Forest, leaving his home very early in the morning and sometimes traveling many miles to take his pictures.
“For me, the time of day and composition in my photography is very important. I do not know many photographers who carry all their equipment on their back and cycle hundreds of kilometres just to ‘get the shot’! I start really early in the morning, often around 4 or 5am, and head out hoping to find something interesting: something magical.”
Marek loves to travel, and his website features imagery form all around Europe. His photographic goal is to inspire people to travel more themselves and discover places from a different perspective and not like the view from the guidebooks.
