IT and Cyber Security Technical Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our passionate IT team to provide the best IT experience to users.
You will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, developing, and supporting our cloud-based IT infrastructure and systems. Working with cutting-edge Microsoft products such as E5, Defender, Intune, Azure and Copilot, your responsibilities will include:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and optimize the cloud-based IT infrastructure
- Ensure servers and endpoints are updated with security patches
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Application Deployment:
- Deploy and manage applications using Microsoft Intune
- Coordinate software updates and installations
- Data Protection and Backup:
- Implement and maintain backup solutions for data protection
- Ensure data integrity and availability in Microsoft 365 and Azure
- 2nd Line Helpdesk Support:
- Respond to user helpdesk calls promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with our technician to resolve technical issues
- Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with the IT manager on upcoming IT projects
- Contribute technical expertise and insights
You will have:
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and management
- Experience deploying applications through mobile device management (MDM)
- Ability to respond to security incidents and handle helpdesk calls
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently
This role is for up to 22 hours per week (working days to be agreed with the successful candidate) and is based in Lymington with home-working options.
