New Forest Young Content Creators scheme
Applications have now closed for spring/summer 2025, please check back in the autumn.
The New Forest National Park Authority is offering funds of up to £150 to support 16-30 year-olds to produce digital, climate and nature-focused content.
A total of £1500 has been allocated to support young, budding content creators in the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area who are passionate about climate and nature and how this affects their local communities. The content produced could be video, audio or photography, should be social media-focused, community-based and appeal to other young people. We want to help you produce the content you want to see or believe is missing from your feed right now.
Application windows will open twice a year for spring/summer and autumn/winter. Applicants must pitch for the topic they are passionate about, the amount of money they would need and what they intend to spend it on. The NPA can support with suggested topic areas, links to a wide range of local experts and a large social media presence of around 140,000 followers to share your finished content should you wish, and providing it fits our aims. We also work with a range of organisations across the National Park and surrounding areas who may wish to support or share your content.
Applications for spring/summer 2025 are now open. Please read all of the supporting documents on this page before submitting an application.16 and 17-year-olds must have permission from a parent/guardian. A new round of the scheme will open in September 2025.
