Public speaking at meetings
If a member of the public wishes to speak at a meeting they must advise Member Services no less than two clear working days before the commencement of the meeting by emailing email@example.com or calling 01590 646647.
Each individual or group (having appointed a spokesperson) who have indicated that they wish to speak may do so for up to three minutes. Following debate by the committee before a decision is made, the spokesperson will be given the option of a one minute right of reply, although no new issues should be raised at this stage.
More information on the speaking procedure for the Planning Development Control Committee can be found in Part 2, Schedule 2 of the Standing Orders.
