How long does enforcement take?
Enforcement can be a lengthy process, which we know can be frustrating if an activity is causing distress.
There are lots of reasons why the process can take a while, including:
- Gathering satisfactory robust evidence
- Continuing negotiation to try to resolve the matter with the offender without pursing formal action
- Consideration of an application seeking to remedy the matter
- Awaiting determination of an appeal against formal Notices.
