Senior Planning Officer and Planning Officer (maternity cover)
We are looking for two dedicated and highly motivated professionals to join our National Park planning team for the next 12 months. Working in an exceptionally beautiful and scenic part of the country, you can expect to deal with a wide range of planning applications, appeals and related enquiries, supported by an up-to-date Local Plan.
For the senior position, you will already have experience of working in a planning team with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The planning officer role would suit someone looking to broaden their planning career. Alternatively, you may be considering a career change or are just about to embark on your planning career after recently graduating.

Senior Planning Officer – salary range is £40,605 – £45,926 per annum.
Planning Officer – salary range is £25,246 – £40,605. This is a career graded role and appointment within the salary range will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Chartered town planners with relevant experience can expect to be appointed towards the top of the scale. Both roles require a valid driving licence.
