Support local with the Marque’s luxury hamper collaboration
PUBLISHED ON: 15 JULY 2022The New Forest Marque has teamed up with the New Forest Hamper Company to launch a specially curated range of hampers brimming with New Forest produce.
Three new luxury hampers offer a unique way to gift family and friends a taste of the New Forest, supporting local businesses linked to the local landscape, who have the Forest at the heart of their offering.
The collaboration showcases a wide selection of best-selling treats from New Forest Marque members, including hand-crafted gins, homemade cakes, award-winning cheeses, delicious jams, artisan soaps and aromatic candles – all made in the New Forest.
The New Forest Marque is a food and produce scheme which champions businesses who pride themselves on producing and providing food, drinks and crafts with clearly defined New Forest provenance. The Marque is awarded to produce which has been grown, reared, caught, brewed, produced or processed within the New Forest.
Adie Callaghan and team launched the New Forest Hamper Company in 2016, with a vision of bringing the delicious tastes of the New Forest together, perfectly packaged and delivered across the UK.
Based in Milford on Sea, Adie now works with over 50 carefully chosen suppliers, from craft distilleries and breweries to farms and artisan food makers, to create a range of hampers selected from over 150 local products.
Adie said: ‘We are delighted to be working with the New Forest Marque on this hamper collaboration project, specifically championing those producers who are fellow Marque members. Having sat on the Marque’s board previously, and being a member for many years, I personally feel very passionate about any project that highlights and promotes the quality and wealth of local producers we have on our doorstep here in the Forest.
‘These hampers are brimming with the taste of the Forest and reflect the core of our brand. With a nationwide courier service available, anyone can enjoy some authentic New Forest treats wherever they are in the country.’
In 2020, the New Forest Hamper Company was named Best Supporter of Local Produce in the New Forest Awards, which celebrate the people who help sustain the New Forest’s environment and rural economy, ensuring it thrives and is fit for the future.
The New Forest Marque, supported by the New Forest National Park Authority, also works to protect, encourage, and promote the traditional farming practices which help fashion the iconic landscape found in the New Forest.
