Project Co-ordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator to organise delivery of our new partnership project aiming to help halt species decline and restore and connect habitats in the New Forest National Park.
Re:New Nature in the New Forest will involve six partners working together to enhance 250 hectares of land for nature across 25 sites. Habitats will be improved and links between them will be re-established to create the right conditions for species to flourish. Ways to improve areas for nature will be shared with other landowners and communities through demonstration sites, working with the Forest’s community green groups, guided walks, talks and online campaigns.
You will act as a central point of contact between our partners and funders and provide general administrative support including:
- organising meetings
- taking minutes
- collating information for board papers
- collating basic financial information from delivery partners for quarterly financial claims
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to this role. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with previous experience of project delivery and minute taking. A general interest or experience in environmental issues would be an advantage.
Based at our offices in Lymington with some home working options, this role is for a fixed term until February 2026 and is for 22.5 hours per week (0.6 of a full time post).
The New Forest National Park is a world capital for wildlife and renowned for its beauty, roaming livestock and extraordinary landscape – come and be part of an exciting team that helps to look after it!
