Landscape Enhancement Project Co-ordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to co-ordinate and deliver landscape improvement projects across the New Forest National Park.
You’ll be leading volunteer groups, working with contractors and in partnership with staff from various New Forest organisations to achieve deliverables on time and within budget. Once established we’ll encourage you to develop your own projects in-line with the National Grid’s Landscape Enhancement Initiative.
We’re looking for someone with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, experience of leading volunteer groups on practical countryside tasks, and demonstrable project delivery experience. You’ll work well in a close team supporting colleagues and also be comfortable lone working. Using a laptop with standard Microsoft Office software is an essential requirement of the role.
Role specifics:
- Three-year fixed term contract
- 18.5 hours per week to include evenings and weekends
- Based at our offices in Lymington but will work across the New Forest
- Valid driving licence and own transport is essential
- Lone working
- Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
The quoted salary is based on a full time equivalent and this role is 0.5 of a full-time role.
