Willow Leaf Bowl Workshop
If you are keen to learn a new skill or have tried willow weaving before, this workshop is a great day for beginners and improvers alike.
You will be given a frame made of willow branches to start your bowl. Then, using slender flexible rods, you will learn a figure of eight weave and introduce ribs to create the dip of your fruit or nut bowl. These look stunning as a table centre piece or on a sideboard. Louise Arthur, a Hampshire basketmaker, will guide you through the day with all the materials, tools and tips needed.
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. You could bring a packed lunch or purchase hot or cold food from Mr Eddy's restaurant onsite.
Tickets are £80 for a full day (10am to 5pm).
