Dusk walk with a ranger
Join a knowledgeable New Forest National Park Authority ranger for a twilight trek.
Alongside your guide, you will have the chance to listen for an evening bird chorus, the opportunity to spot bats with the help of specialist detectors, and to hear about the Forest’s wildlife at sunset.
The evening will follow an out-and-back route and last for approximately two hours. Attendees should wear suitable robust footwear, dress for a cool spring evening, and bring their own drinks. The trail will be suitable for pushchairs.
There are unfortunately no toilets in this area (the closest will be in Lyndhurst) and dogs are not allowed on this wildlife walk.
Torches can be brought but it is encouraged they are used sparingly because they can impact the night vision of others taking part.
