WOODLANDERS EXHIBITION
SEPTEMBER 6-21, 2025
Gosh how time flies! It’s time for the Woodlanders September 2025 Exhibition at Burley Village Hall. There are ten painters, three working in wood, two potters and a glass artist! So much to see but too many to name individually. All the artists you’ve come to know and love are showing including founder members Suzan Houching, Brenda Farrell and Daphne Ellman. Newer faces such as Carolyne Viney, Lindsey Cole and Linda Easter will also be exhibiting. Between all the artists they cover a broad spectrum of styles and subjects ranging from traditional to contemporary depicting the world about us in so many ways. There will be amazing wood carvings and functional items such as chopping boards and the like from the skilful hands of Paul Humphriss and Nigel Chant - great for presents and not forgetting walking sticks made to fit. Ceramics and glass complete the original work on offer and we must introduce new member Helen Green who works in this area. Most of us also produce cards for all occasions and a plethora of sundry items at very affordable prices. So, it’s a must, come and see us - have tea and cake - see artists at work! We open September 6th daily until Sunday 21st. Well sign posted and parking is available.
