Summer Fun at Hurst Castle
Throughout the school summer holiday enjoy family fun over at Hurst Castle.
Visit Hurst Castle throughout the summer holiday and join in the family friendly activities, with a touch of history! Included with your castle admission these exciting events are lined up:
Daily from Saturday 19th July – Saturday 31st August: Try the Nautical trail – it will be up and running for the whole of the summer holidays - complete the trail and win a reward! There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained at the castle whilst also learning.
Plus:
• Every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays join in TUDOR TUESDAYS 11am-4pm and enjoy Tudor themed activities, learning about the Tudor period whilst in a Tudor castle!
• Every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays join in WILDLIFE WEDNESDAYS 11am-4pm and learn about the wildlife that calls Hurst Spit its home! With experts joining weekly from either Bird Aware Solent, Freshwater Habitats Trust, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Trust, New Forest National Park Authority and Wings Wildlife Heritage – there’ll be lots to do!
• Every Thursday throughout the summer holidays join in THROWBACK THURSDAYS 11am-4pm. Each week will feature a different period in history and families can have some fun with activities and dressing up.
All the summer activities are included in your castle admission. Hurst Castle is open 7 days a week from 10am-5.30pm.
Why not start your family adventure and take a leisurely ferry to the castle? Ferries depart daily from Keyhaven at 10am and then approximately every 20-30 minutes.
