Building Design Awards 2017 - Nomination Form

Thank you for your interest in this awards scheme, which aims to celebrate high quality development and recognise the contribution excellent design makes to the built environment of the National Park.

What can be nominated?

We are keen to award those designs that have been received enthusiastically by those living in or visiting the National Park. The award can show appreciation for schemes that contribute to and reinforce the natural environment, its settlements and sense of place.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

- individual buildings

- extensions, and

- larger developments

Awards are for new buildings in the National Park completed over the last three years. You can nominate one scheme or several, including your own.

Details and Procedures

Nominations will be considered by a panel made up of National Park Authority members and staff, including representatives of the Authority's Planning Development Control Committee.

The Assessment Panel will visit a shortlist of properties and make its selection. There will be one main award in each category each year. Owners of properties that were shortlisted will also receive a certificate of commendation.
