Twisted tea rooms and live music

24 May - 11am to 4pm - Brockenhurst Railway Station - FREE

Enjoy a bygone era of vintage entertainment on the platforms of Brockenhurst Railway Station. Includes the Twisted Tea Rooms - a traditional canvas marquee bursting traditional food, fresh summer savouries, beautiful high teas and an array of cakes, served on vintage tea sets.

Date with Nature

All weekend - 10am to 4pm - New Forest Reptile Centre

Come and get a sneak peak of what’s happening in the nests of some of our most spectacular visitors and secretive residents via our live nest-cams. You can chat to the experts and get the lowdown on our native reptiles, who all live in the Forest.

East Boldre Airfield Remembers WWI

All weekend - 11am to 4pm - East Boldre Village Hall.

A weekend of talks, exhibitions and flying displays to commemorate East Boldre's role in World War One.

New Forest birds and their songs

23 May - 7am-9am - Ashlett Creek

One of a series of early morning, guided walks to learn about the songs and calls of the New Forest’s birds.

Join this course to learn how to identify New Forest birds by their songs and calls, as well as where we find them, what they look like and how they behave.

New Milton open studio

All weekend - 11am to 5pm - Oakwood Art Studio, New Milton

The studio has a wide array of 100 per cent handmade products available including: hand weaving felting, dyeing wirework & fused glass jewellery, fabric bags & fabric chicks, doodle art, prints of paintings in acrylic, oil & watercolour, local photographic prints & canvases

Bushcraft for beginners - the nettle

23 May - 10am to 1pm - Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve

Celebrate national 'be nice to nettles week' - find out why stinging nettles are so great for wildlife before harvesting them and lighting the campfire for cooking up a soup and making some string out of these underrated 'weeds'.
