New sights and sounds for the New Forest Tour this summer

The New Forest Tour returns this Saturday with the best views of the National Park.

There are new stops this year on its three scenic routes including Hythe Ferry, New Forest Wildlife Park and Longdown Activity Farm near Ashurst.

But it’s not just new stops for passengers to discover – as there are new sounds to enjoy as well.

All three routes have new audio commentary for 2014 – with character voices, sound effects and music.

The green route tells the story of the forest from royal hunting park to National Park.

The red route has the travellers’ tales of witches, legends and colourful characters, whilst the blue coastal route highlights the smugglers, shipwrecks and sea shanties.

Here is a sneak preview of the green route commentary:

To listen to the full commentaries, take the Tour from June 28 to September 14. Choose your favourite route at www.thenewforesttour.info. Book your tickets in advance or pay the drivers on the day.

The New Forest Tour is run by Go South Coast in partnership with the New Forest National Park Authority.
