Our volunteers support children, young people and families across the county. As part of Hampshire County Council Children’s Services, our volunteers receive comprehensive training, develop new life skills, and help build brighter futures.
Our volunteer roles:
- Community Buddies – One-to-one support for children and young people (ages 10–17) with disabilities to access activities in the community.
- Independent Visitors – Trusted adults for children and young people in care (ages 8–21), offering friendship and consistency.
- Mentors – Guidance and encouragement for young people aged 11–17 who are open to Children’s Services.
- Family Support Volunteers – Helping families open to Children’s Services through challenging times with practical and emotional support.
- Return from Missing Conversation Volunteers – Checking in with children and young people who have been reported missing.
