7. Securities
Please describe below any beneficial interest in securities of a body where:
- you are aware that that body has a place of business or land in the New Forest National Park; and

- the total nominal value of the securities exceeds £25,000 or one hundredth of the total issued share capital of that body; or
- if the share capital of that body is of more than one class, the total nominal value of the shares of any one class in which you or a relevant person has a beneficial interest exceeds one hundredth of the total issued share capital of that class.

Guidance for completing this form
When to declare
You must declare your interests as set out below:
- within 28 days of becoming a Member;
- within 28 days of any change to your interests or a new interest arising;
- where the interest is relevant to a particular matter that the Authority is dealing with, including at meetings of the Authority and its Committees. You will also need to consider, under these circumstances, whether a Part 2B interest amounts to being prejudicial within the meaning of the Code of Conduct, and whether you consider you may be perceived to have predetermined an item of business;
- where an interest is declared at a meeting please also notify the Monitoring Officer within 28 days of that meeting;
- in addition to completing this form, please expressly inform the Monitoring Officer of any planning application that affects you personally, because you are the owner or applicant or otherwise; and
- we also ask that you annually review and, if necessary, update your form.
Please note that failure to declare a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest correctly or on time and certain other failures to comply with the provisions of the Localism Act 2011 amount to a criminal offence.
What to declare
Please describe your interests in as much detail as possible, so that a member of the public could easily understand the nature of the interest.
Please disclose all memberships at any tier of local government, including your appointing authority if any, and also including all Parish Council memberships and Parish Council Planning Committee memberships and particular positions of responsibility.

Please seek advice from the Authority’s Monitoring Officer if you need help in completing this form and/or in seeking a dispensation under the Localism Act 2011 in respect of a DPI and/or where you consider an interest amounts to a ‘sensitive interest’.
