Wildlife conservation
Do you enjoy being out and about in the New Forest?
The New Forest National Park Authority need volunteers to undertake rewarding practical conservation tasks across the national park.
You will be joining an enthusiastic team of volunteers working together to help restore and enhance wildlife habitats such as woodlands, meadows, heathland, and hedgerows.
We volunteer during the autumn and winter months using hand tools to clear scrub from encroaching onto species-rich grasslands and restore woodlands and hedgerows by coppicing, hedge planting and the removal of invasive plant species.
No experience needed, just the desire and ability to be out in the forest all day. All training and equipment will be provided.
