Weaving Spring Platters Willow Workshop

This April we welcome back basketmaker Louise Arthur of Rough Around the Hedges. Her popular half day workshops offer new skills, creativity and a chance to join others while crafting with willow. ‘Spring Platters’ is the first of a series of three workshops this year. Colourful and rustic with varied barks or simple and contemporary with white willow, platters offer plenty of choices. There will be time to practice the techniques and refine your design.

All materials, tools and guidance will be provided. You will take away two handmade items.

Suitable for beginners with some manual dexterity and patience.

Bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old trousers and sensible footwear.

This workshop is suitable for adults only.

The workshop is from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are £45 including refreshments, and you are welcome to visit the gardens free of charge after the workshop.
