Spring Awakenings – a woodland adventure for families

At New Park Farm – (site of the New Forest Show, near Brockenhurst).

Calling all Spring Detectives! Spring is arriving in the woodlands, and we need your help to investigate the signs that nature is waking up.

Explore the woods, search for spring wildlife, and take on fun, hands-on challenges. Can you build a bird’s nest, find enough food to feed your hungry chicks, and spot the clues that show spring is here?

Along the way, you’ll discover how plants and animals prepare for the new season and learn what to look out for as the woodland bursts back into life.

A fun, family-friendly nature mission full of exploring, creating, and discovery – perfect for curious children and their grown-ups!

Suitable for: Families with children aged 5+. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. (Receommened for children aged 5 – 11 years)

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather. Bring a drink and snack if you wish.

Dogs welcome on a short, fixed lead.
