Discover the many secrets of its past and how it is currently being restored by the award winning Pondhead Conservation Trust (as seen on BBC Countryfile). In addition to its history, learn about its biodiversity, traditional woodland coppice management and charcoal production, including the role of New Forest charcoal makers over many centuries.
