Andy Tait Photography
Andy Tait’s photography journey began at the age of 18, sparked by the simple click of his camera shutter. Inspired by a love of walking in nature and an eye for beauty in the everyday landscape, he first developed his craft using 35mm slide film. Today, he embraces the flexibility of digital photography and the creative possibilities that modern editing techniques offer.
Deeply passionate about the natural world, Andy is most at home in woodlands, under big skies and around wildlife. He considers the New Forest to be an unrivalled place for his work and is continually inspired by its landscapes and unique character. Having trained as an agricultural engineer, he has a particular interest in the Forest’s Commoners and their animals, and is an active member of the Commoners’ Defence Association.
Alongside his landscape and nature work, Andy has developed a diverse semi-professional portfolio. He photographs high-value vehicles for leading auction houses, covers live events (both public and private), and undertakes property photography for developers. These varied disciplines provide valuable crossover skills that strengthen his approach and creative eye.
Andy’s work has been published widely online and in print across editorial, documentary and marketing platforms. Details of his services, fine art New Forest prints and contact information can be found on his website. You can also follow him on Instagram .
