We are keen to involve people in our work and plans. Through consultation there is the opportunity for everyone who has an interest in the National Park to help plan its future.

REVIEW OF THE NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK LOCAL PLAN – REGULATION 18 (PART 1) CONSULTATION
The New Forest National Park Authority (NPA) is reviewing its adopted Local Plan (2019), which guides decisions on planning applications within the National Park area and helps to deliver the statutory Park purposes. The consultation period runs from 4 February to 5pm on 18 March 2025. The New Forest National Park Local Plan Review ‘Direction of Travel’ document sets out the scope of the review and invites feedback, together with a ‘Call for Sites’ inviting suggestions for suitable land for a range of future development and other uses.
