Action Hampshire
For over 70 years, Action Hampshire has been supporting not-for-profit organisations to deliver great services to local people and communities; speak up for the changes they would like to see; and shape the future of where they live and work.
Our vision is for a strong, effective and dynamic community and voluntary sector. The ethos of all our work is to enable and empower communities to do things for themselves, by providing support, connection and representation.
Action Hampshire has been providing support to voluntary groups, charities and local government on research, impact and evaluation, scoping and learning reviews for over 20 years.
We have extensive experience conducting research with communities and a real commitment to community engagement, measuring and increasing the impact of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and building strong communities.
Monitoring and evaluating the YouCAN scheme
Action Hampshire will be undertaking a mixed-methods evaluation of YouCAN to understand if and how the project has achieved its intended outcomes and to assess the effectiveness of the partnership working developed to deliver this project.
We will work with partners to create a Theory of Change and identify what data needs to be collected to monitor project progress and help us answer the evaluation questions.
This quantitative data collected by project partners will be supported by the qualitative data collected by Action Hampshire through a range of methods such as case studies (developed by young community researchers), pre and post activity surveys, mapping of local networks and green opportunities, and interviews with project partners.
Interim and final reports will be produced to present key findings and recommendations.
