Woodlanders Art Exhibition

An annual Art exhibition held in the heart of the New Forest

WOODLANDERS EXHIBITION
SEPTEMBER 12-27
If you are a regular visitor to the Woodlanders Art Exhibition then you know to expect a wonderful display of art and craft which you will be able to see daily from September 12th -27th at the Village Hall, Burley in the heart of the New Forest. If you haven’t seen us before then you are in for a treat. We are a collection of creative people that come together each year to put on an exhibition. Suzan Houching well known for her unique take on village life and working in a style all her own started the exhibition over 30 years ago. Joining Suzan from the original line up are Brenda Farrell and Daphne Ellman. They are joined by other well-known local artists, Danny Byrne and Lindsay Cole to name but a few. There are in fact eleven artists for you to come and see all working in a variety of subject matter from landscapes to animals and traditional to contemporary with many demonstrating their craft. Whilst these artists are showing their original work, they also have an array of merchandise ranging from prints to greeting cards and many other affordable items.
Also on show is a variety of woodcraft ranging from beautiful carvings by Paul Humphriss and stylish work by Nigel Chant. Ceramics and glass art round off a stunning display for you to enjoy and maybe take a piece away with you.
Do come and see us, we are looking forward to meeting you.
