A family run business, Lymington Firewood produce high-quality kiln-dried wood products sourced from local suppliers. They are committed to operating as sustainably as possible, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. Every off-cut from their machine is repurposed, either transformed into kindling or used to fuel the kiln that carefully dries their wood. They are members of the New Forest Marque accredited local produce scheme.
Lymington Firewood successfully received the Rural England Prosperity Fund grant, giving them the funds to purchase a rotator attachment for their telehandler. This enables them to lift and tip the cages of dried logs into the cleaner, which then bags them. This addition has sped up and smoothed out their processes, helping to increase the productivity of their day to day operations.
