COASTAL CELEBRATION

First ever event organised by the Hurst Spit & Keyhaven Nature Reserve Forum, known as the 'Coastal Forum', a group of 25 members of local and national organisations, local authorities, recreational & conservation groups and residents whose aims are:To promote Hurst Spit and nearby areas as highly designated Nature ReservesTo inform visitors of the importance of the Spit for ground-nesting birds during summer and populations of wintering wildfowlTo stress the importance of sharing wild coastal spaces with wildlife, with dogs kept under control andEncouraging visitors to not trample protected saltmarsh vegetation all year around

Free event for all the family to be held on Saturday 30th May between 10am and 3pm on the grass area immediately east alongside the Needles Eye Cafe in Hurst Road, Milford-on-Sea. Post Code SO41 0PY.
