Urban Wild 2026: Reimagining Southampton

Urban Wild is returning to Southampton for 2026 celebrating the city’s green and blue spaces, nature, and its communities with the theme ‘Reimaging Southampton’, running from Saturday 23 May to Sunday 31 May.

‘Urban Wild on the Common’ (Sunday 24 May) will be an exciting festival showcase day on Southampton Common for Urban Wild’s opening weekend, followed by Urban Wild Week featuring events hosted by organisers across the city.

The festival week highlights a world where biodiversity and people thrive together, seeing Southampton as a green, healthy, and connected place for all.

Focusing on inclusivity, sustainability, and community action, Urban Wild is more than an event – it’s a movement towards a brighter, more harmonious future. So, whether you’re curious about urban ecology, passionate about the arts, or simply looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
