I am delighted to represent Redlynch and Landford division as a member elected to Wiltshire Council. I live just outside the New Forest with my husband Richard.

Many of my journeys take me through parts of the New Forest National Park and I am passionate and enjoying the beauty of nature around us and enjoy walking in the New Forest and taking plenty of photographs.

I am passionate about tackling the menace of litter and fly tipping, litter picking and reporting issues I see via the MyWilts app or website – and I encourage everyone to do the same, using the appropriate software/reporting system for their particular area. Let’s keep things lovely!

The New Forest and Wiltshire County itself can at first appear remote from one other but it is important to remember that a significant part of the National Park, the northern most 10%, is in Wiltshire. Both have an impact upon each other, so we need to work collaboratively with all interested agencies and authorities to link up our efforts in order to enjoy, look after and respect the natural environment.

I have a particular interest in doing what I can with many other groups on the Animal Accident Reduction groups to help reduce Commoner’s livestock deaths and injuries. My area borders on Roger Penny Way which is sadly a particular hotspot and we want to educate and help local and visiting road users understand the unpredictability of the creatures roaming free in the New Forest which shape its landscape and character – it’s what makes the New Forest unique!
