New Forest Walking Festival

The 2025 New Forest Walking Festival has now finished after hundreds of walkers joined more than 45 walks throughout the National Park.

A packed calendar saw people of all ages and abilities join guided walks for a fun-filled fortnight to see the New Forest come alive with autumnal colours.

Highlights of the Walking Festival included fascinating wildlife and heritage walks with rangers and keepers from the New Forest NPA and Forestry England, fungi identification rambles with wildlife experts, and a range of Halloween-themed, family-friendly, and accessible routes.
