Rockbourne Roman Villa
Rockbourne Roman Villa is a museum and unique archaeological site near Fordingbridge.
It is open to the public between April and September, and managed by Hampshire Cultural Trust.
The museum has one paid member of staff and relies on the support of local volunteers to enable us to open the museum to the public and make it an exciting place to visit.
We require volunteers to take a public facing role to welcome visitors and help us care for this important aspect of Hampshire’s ancient heritage. You will welcome visitors to the site and assist with providing customer service, care and security.
There are a number of tasks for volunteers, including helping out with events, family activities and helping to maintain the museum garden and site. We are a small but friendly team and look forward to welcoming new volunteers who join us. We offer an induction and training for all our volunteers; over 16s welcome.
