Planning Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and highly motivated professional to join our National Park planning team.
Working in an exceptionally beautiful and scenic part of the country, you can expect to deal with a wide range of planning applications, appeals and related enquiries, supported by an up-to-date Local Plan. Ideally you will already have some experience of working in a planning team with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Alternatively, you may be considering a career change or are just about to embark on your planning career after graduating this summer.
Based in Lymington, we support flexible working and a blended mix of office and home working. We also offer a range of other benefits including a generous contributory Local Government pension, paid Membership fees to the RTPI and plenty of training and development opportunities.
This is a career graded post and appointment within the above salary range will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Chartered town planners with relevant experience can expect to be appointed towards the top of the scale. The role requires a valid driving licence.
