Planning Enforcement Manager
The New Forest National Park offers a unique and truly outstanding environment in which to lead a dedicated planning enforcement team.
We are looking for an experienced individual with strong interpersonal skills who is self-motivated and well-organised. With responsibility for the management of the team and the enforcement work it undertakes, you will need to be able to demonstrate appropriate qualifications and relevant experience in this area of planning.
In this role you will oversee the investigation of all reported breaches of planning control and deliver an active monitoring programme to ensure new developments are carried out in accordance with approved plans. In cases where formal enforcement action is taken you will represent the Authority at Appeal and in Court proceedings. You will liaise with a variety of external consultees as well as our own specialist officers. You will also be actively involved in the wider management and delivery of our planning service.

Appointment within the salary range will be dependent on qualifications and experience. This post is based at our offices in Lymington and requires a valid driving licence.
