Education and Youth Officer (maternity cover)
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our education and youth team in the planning and delivery of quality learning experiences in and about the New Forest National Park to young people of all ages and abilities.
Working closely with our ranger team you will:
- Teach outdoors, indoors and online using your excellent communication skills
- Use innovative approaches to deliver learning across a range of subjects
- Organise bookings and pre visits with teachers and group leaders to a high professional standard
- Create and manage resources and online materials for learning such as the John Muir Award.
You can work equally well independently and as part of a team, and whilst you are meticulous and professional in your approach to planning and delivery, you are also able to adapt to the differing needs of the groups you are working with. Above all, you are able to enthuse and inspire learners of all ages with your passion for outdoor learning.
Based at our offices in Lymington (with some home working), this post requires a valid driving licence, access to a vehicle and is subject to DBS clearance.
