Administration Assistant
We are looking for someone to join our busy planning team on a temporary basis following the introduction of a new planning software system.
We need someone who can ‘hit the ground running’ to undertake a range of administrative tasks to help us deliver an excellent planning service. You will register planning applications, record fees, carry out notifications, advertisements and consultations as well as assisting with all administration tasks associated with the planning function, including giving general advice to members of the public. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in development management for a local planning authority.
Strong IT, communication and organisational skills are essential to this role and an understanding of Office 365 would be beneficial. We have a friendly and supportive work environment, but you will work independently for much of the time using your own initiative.
