Peter LeCointe
A polaroid instamatic camera bought for his 17th birthday sparked Peter’s passion for photography which continues to this day.
The advent of digital cameras and the ability to process images on a computer from home made this hobby more accessible providing the opportunity for Peter to experiment with various techniques such as HDR photography. This led to several of his images being published in well-known photographic magazines. Following on from that Peter became a regular magazine contributor writing monthly tutorials on processing images in Photoshop.
Taking photographs has always been all important and Peter takes every opportunity to get out with his camera. Landscape, architecture, and street photography are genres that he particularly enjoys. However, living locally and an interest in hiking allows him to pursue his main passion, photographing the flora and fauna of the New Forest National Park.
Peter enjoys nothing more than being at one with nature.
“I consider myself very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country. I am determined not to take it for granted. It gives me so much pleasure when I am lucky enough to be able to capture some of that beauty and share it with others through my photography.”
