Andrew Stevens
Having come back to photography in 2005, Andrew quickly reacquainted himself with the love of a good sunrise. The anticipation of what might happen, the ever-changing colours and light – and the knowledge that you’re normally the only person viewing that particular scene, make pre-dawn photography compelling for Andrew.
Living on the Dorset/Hampshire border, Andrew is ideally situated to make the most of the beautiful landscapes our part of the UK has to offer.
Having held some very successful exhibitions, Andrew decided to make the step towards semi-professional photographer, and now supplies his images commercially through the image library, Alamy. He has already seen his images published in books, magazines, national newspapers, websites and even a couple of CD covers. Andrew also has a freelance contract to supply landscape images to the National Trust’s Picture Library.
As well as his own photography, Andrew really enjoys helping others to improve theirs through hands-on, in-the-field workshops. You can also read the story and techniques behind some of Andrew’s personal favourite images on his Blog.
