Sue Bennison

I moved to Bramshaw in the New Forest in 1986 along with my husband, four horses, two dogs and a cat. Initially I administered my husband’s Media Independent Advertising Agency from home, where my early office and book keeping training stood me in good stead. My interests are horses, dogs, gardening and all types of wildlife, fauna and flora.

I am a qualified BHS Asst. Instructor and have competed in showing and affiliated dressage with several horses over the years and have spent many hours riding in our wonderful Forest.

I am Treasurer of the Bramshaw Horticultural Society and both Chairman and Treasurer of the Bramshaw and District Film Society.

Since 2000 I have been a Bramshaw Parish Councillor, leading on planning and highway matters and the Parish representative on the Consultative Panel.

In 2011 I was persuaded to stand for District Councillor for Marchwood and was successful in being elected. As a District Councillor I sit on the Planning Committee and the Environment Panel and have an active interest in housing, and health and leisure and all environmental issues.
